Kassandra Wilson is a candidate for Trustee of Chaffey Joint Union High School District School Board Area 4

Kassandra has been serving the youth of our community for over 30 years.  She began her service as a student trustee at the community college level, where she advocated for the ability of students to graduate and advance to the university level.  As a UCLA undergraduate student, she volunteered at high schools in the Inglewood area of Los Angeles.  After graduating, she served with her church in south Los Angeles and Watts. She worked with elementary and high school students counseling and providing food subsidies.  More recently, she has volunteered with a local church in the Inland Empire donating food, toys, and clothing to an orphanage in Mexico. She also served at this church teaching preschool and middle school- aged children.

As an active member in her local Rancho Cucamonga community, Kassandra continues her service on many committees within the Chaffey Joint Union High School District. Her most recent activities include serving with the Rancho Cucamonga PTA and as a member of the WASC Accreditation team. She also serves on the LCAP budgeting committee, School Site Council, and as current president of the AAPAC parent council. In 2021, she was awarded "Volunteer of the Year" by the school district.

Kassandra is a wife, mother of a high school student, and works as a professor of nursing.

She is committed to working to make sure our kids are college and career ready upon high school graduation, and to increasing parent engagement in our schools.

Let's work together to make sure our kids have the opportunity to achieve all that they can be!
